If ovals ever leave the Indycar series entirely, it won’t be Hy-Vee’s fault. The Iowa based grocery store chain, which helped make the Iowa race weekend a success, has added sponsorship of the Milwaukee twin bill over Labor Day weekend.

The Hy-Vee Milwaukee Twin 250s are scheduled for August 31 and September 1 as the final oval races of the 2024 season. The Saturday race is a late Afternoon event set for a 5 pm Central time start.

Entertainment details will be announced at a later date. The Hy-Vee sponsorship is a positive step for Milwaukee. Indycar was last there about 10 years ago, with poor attendance and little promotion.
