Four grid penalties, including two of the title contenders have been assessed by Indycar for unapproved engine changes.

The cars affected:

No. 9 Chip Ganassi Racing  Scott Dixon
· No. 10 Chip Ganassi Racing Alex Palou
· No. 51 Dale Coyne Racing Katherine Legge
· No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing Felix Rosenqvist

Each car will lose nine positions on the starting grid after qualifying.
