Dixon Leads as Some Contenders Struggle

Scott Dixon qualified first and no one has been able to match his four lap average of 231.320 mph. Colton Herza, Tony Kansas, and Ed Carpenter put up a challenge for two laps, but their last two laps brought their average below Dixon’s.

  1. Car numbers are difficult to pick on the TV. Would like to know how many cars are each of the “super teams”,; e.g., Ganassi, Foyt, Penske, Carpenter, . And there car numbers. Cheering for Danica to lead the boys around the track in mid-engine Corvette.
    As always, logged in and watching as much as I can chasing the different channels and their crazy scheduling. Have they decided to allow middle Indiana see the broadcast live (not blacked out)?
    My Old School thrill is to listen to the trackside spotters calling the race on the radio broadcast and watching the TV with the sound turned off.

    1. Haven’t heard about local tv yet. Car counts- Ganasdi (4) numbers 8, 9, 20, 48. Dixon is 9 Kanaan 48. Penske. (4). numbers 2, 3, 12, 22. Power is 12. Foyt (4) numbers 4, 14, 11, 1. Carpenter (3) Numbers 20, 21, 47. Ed is 20. I posted the entry list earlier this month
